MicroNeedling is an ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine technique which utilizes very small needles to create micro-channels, or super small holes in the skin's surface. This creates a very tiny wound and initiates your body's own healing process to lay down collagen, elastin, stem cells and new skin cells. Using innovation and modern technology in the form of a MicroNeedling Pen, the 12 tiny needles can move 18,000 RPM! This creates a more efficient and effective way to remodel the skin and allow for deeper absorption of nutrients which rejuvenate the skin. 

MicroNeedling and NanoNeedling uses the same tool and technique, but a different attachment to the pen that we use on your skin. NanoNeedling is more superficial and uses silicone tips instead of stainless steel needles. When doing either Micro or Nano needling, we always use Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is a sugar molecule that holds 1000x it's weight in water. It is found naturally in the skin, and is essential in repairing tissue. After your MicroNeedling treatment, we will give you a small container of Hyaluronic Acid to continue to use over the next 24 hours while your skin is open to absorb and rebuild. 

Along with Hyaluronic Acid, we use vegan stem cells from the famous Uttwiller Spatlauber apples from Switzerland. These apple stem cells are scientifically proven to activate epidermal cells of the skin to start self-renewing at a rate similar to that of early youth. This action thwarts the skin from developing lines and wrinkles, sagging, and appearing unhealthy or dull. We also use, and may combine with, Chinese Herbal Serums to further stimulate skin remodeling. Based on your skin and your desires, we can choose between Xiang Gu (shiitake mushroom extract) for dry, deficient skin; Fu Ling (Poria mushroom extract) for acne prone or greasy skin; Hai Zao (Spanish seaweed extract) to get rid of eye bags, puffiness and dark circles; Zao Lei (Spanish algae extract) to get rid of hyperpigmentation, age spots or Melasma; Tian Men Dong (asparagus root extract) for mature, older, thin or crepe-like skin; Ji Xue Cao (pennywort herbal extract) to help repair after MicroNeedling, but also for inflammation or toxicity on the skin. 

MicroNeedling (and NanoNeedling) uses a medical device called the MicroNeedling Pen. We use the highest quality brand and highest speed available in the market right now, called AcuMicro Pen. This is a surgical stainless steel pen, that uses one time use, sterile, needle attachments, and can be adjusted for depth and speed. 

Beyond the face and neck, we can also use MicroNeedling on the neck, decollete (or chest area), the top of the hands where you see aging, as well as the scalp to promote hair growth. We use NanoNeedling for under the eyes since that is a very fragile and thin skinned area.
